• We make a continuous and final evaluation of the student’s learning of Spanish.
• We constantly inform the student of their progress in learning Spanish.

• We show the student self-learning tools, development and progress of Spanish.
• We promote that the student defines his own project of learning the Spanish language.
• We motivate our students to continue learning Spanish autonomously.

4. Facilitating intercultural communication.

• The teachers and students of the classes at  Escuela Mediterraneo Tandem Barcelona adapt to the cultures of our students and classmates and to their environment in Barcelona.
• We promote intercultural dialogue in the classroom and online.
• We promote that our students develop their intercultural competences.

5. Developing professionally as a teacher.

• Teachers constantly analyze and reflect on the teaching practice of Spanish as a foreign language, together with the directors of Escuela Mediterraneo Tandem Barcelona and the management of the Head of Studies: we hold periodic meetings and workshops for second language teaching and learning both in person and online.
• The school directors facilitate its teachers to do  courses, workshops, attend conferences and webinars in order to advance in quality and new methods of teaching Spanish as a second language.

6. Managing feelings and emotions at work.

• The teachers, Administration and directors of the Escuela Mediterraneo Tandem Barcelona carry out workshops and courses in which we learn how to properly manage emotions in the teaching and learning of second languages.
• The teachers share all kinds of activities and knowledge about the teaching of Spanish and second languages through reports and conversations.
• The teachers are involved in the development of emotional intelligence of our students, both in the classroom and online.

7. Taking active part in the school.

• The teachers continually perform co-teaching sessions in classroom and online classes.
• The teachers carry out cultural activities related to Spanish culture and that of our students in which they are the protagonists.

8. Incorporating technology at work.

• The teachers are constantly learning, developing and applying interactive applications for teaching Spanish as a second language.
• The school has interactive whiteboards, computers and projectors in all classrooms to facilitate visual learning and cooperation and interaction of our students.
• The teachers show our students suitable applications for self-learning, development and progress of Spanish.
